We're looking for a Head Chef to join the team.
Not someone who wants to stand around giving orders. Someone who can lead from the front, get stuck in, and help run a busy kitchen properly.
We're an independent restaurant serving breakfast, brunch, tapas and Sunday roasts. Standards matter here. We work hard, we keep things organised, and we expect everyone to pull their weight.
What you'll be doing
- Day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Leading services
- Organising prep and ensuring the kitchen is ready for service
- Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
- Training and supporting junior team members
- Control stock, waste and food costs
- Making sure every plate leaving the kitchen is something you're happy to put your name to
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef
- Ability to stay calm during busy services
- Good organisational skills
- Reliable and hardworking
- Someone who takes pride in their work
- A team player with a positive attitude
