Job Title: Planner / Scheduler

About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Planner / Scheduler to join our team within a housing association. This role is key to ensuring the efficient scheduling of maintenance and repair works, supporting both residents and operational teams to deliver a high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance and repair appointments for operatives
- Manage diaries to ensure optimal use of resources and minimise downtime
- Act as a point of contact for residents, handling queries and booking appointments
- Monitor and adjust schedules in response to urgent or emergency repairs
- Liaise with contractors, operatives, and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and update systems in real time
- Ensure all appointments meet service level agreements (SLAs)
Requirements
- Previous experience in a planning, scheduling, or coordination role (preferably within housing, maintenance, or repairs)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Good IT skills and experience using scheduling systems
