The Role
We are seeking a dedicated, skilled and professional barber to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be passionate about barbering, take pride in their work, and consistently deliver a high standard of service.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional barbering services while creating a welcoming and professional experience for every client.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality haircuts, skin fades, taper fades and classic barbering services.
- Provide beard trimming, shaping and grooming services.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles.
- Deliver outstanding customer service that encourages repeat business and long-term client relationships.
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional workstation at all times.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are cleaned and sanitised in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Manage appointments efficiently while maintaining punctuality and service quality.
- Keep up to date with current barbering trends, techniques and products.
- Work collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive team.
- Represent Bricky Row Barbershop with professionalism and pride.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous barbering experience.
- Is confident in skin fades, taper fades, scissor work, beard trimming and modern men's styling.
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Is reliable, punctual and professional.
- Takes pride in producing consistently high-quality work.
- Maintains high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Is motivated to build long-term relationships with clients.
Experience with hot towel beard services or traditional wet shaving would be an advantage, although training can be provided.
