Your working pattern
This is a 42-hour-per-week position working 12-hour day shifts from 8:00am to 8:00pm on a two-week rolling rota:
- Week 1: 3 shifts
- Week 2: 4 shifts
- One weekend on, one weekend off
The predictable rolling rota gives you the opportunity to plan ahead and enjoy regular time away from work.
What you’ll be doing
No two days in care are exactly the same. As a Care Assistant, you’ll get to know our residents as individuals, understanding what is important to them and supporting them in a way that respects their choices and independence.
Your role will include:
- Providing respectful and dignified personal care
- Supporting residents with their daily routines and individual care needs
- Helping and supporting residents during mealtimes
- Encouraging independence, choice and involvement in everyday life
- Providing companionship and taking the time to listen
- Building genuine, trusting relationships with residents
- Working closely with colleagues to provide safe, person-centred care
- Helping to create a warm, welcoming and positive environment for everyone who lives here
