Shop Manager
Hours: Part Time (min 25 hr/week) - Sat & Sun required
Location: Berkhamsted Town Centre
Pay: £16/hour - 10-month contract starting from September
About MAAREE
MAAREE exists to help women feel supported in sport.
We’re opening our very first permanent high street shop! A place where women can discover products designed specifically for them, receive expert bra fittings, attend inspiring events and become part of a supportive community.
The Role
As Shop Manager, you’ll be responsible for running the day-to-day operation of our Berkhamsted store.
You’ll lead the customer experience, ensure every visitor receives expert advice and fittings, manage stock and visual merchandising, support our partner brands, organise community events and help make the shop a destination for women in sport.
Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Become an expert bra fitter.
- Help women find products that genuinely improve their sporting experience.
- Build long-term customer relationships.
- Handle customer queries and returns.
Store Operations
- Open and close the shop.
- Manage rotas.
- Oversee stock levels and replenishment.
- Maintain excellent visual merchandising.
- Ensure store standards remain consistently high.
- Process deliveries.
Sales
- Deliver store sales targets.
- Increase average transaction value.
- Encourage repeat visits.
- Weekly reporting to the CEO
- Capture customer feedback.
Community
- Organise in-store events.
- Build relationships with local gyms, studios and run clubs.
- Help create a vibrant community space.
- Represent MAAREE at local events.
About You
- Loves helping women feel confident.
- Has retail management and event experience.
- Is naturally warm and approachable.
- Enjoys talking to people.
- Is organised and proactive.
- Takes ownership.
- Is comfortable working independently.
- Loves fitness, sport or wellbeing.
Ideally you’ll have
- Retail management experience.
- Bra fitting experience (or lingerie fitting experience).
If not, we’ll provide full bra fitting training.
Pay: £16.00 per hour
