Are you the person who can spot a brilliant carer before they even know it themselves?
Looking for a role where your energy and ideas actually shape the business?
Join a team that truly cares.
At Visiting Angels, we believe great care starts with great people — and that's where you come in. We're looking for an energetic, outgoing and people-focused Recruitment Lead to head up the search for compassionate carers and guide them seamlessly from application to their very first shift — and beyond.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a self-starter who loves connecting with people, can manage their own schedule and workload, and wants to make a real difference in the health and social care sector.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning the full recruitment cycle — from job posting and sourcing to interviewing and onboarding
- Writing engaging job adverts, social media posts and candidate communications
- Helping build our social media presence to attract high-quality candidates
- Bringing fresh, innovative ideas to how we attract — and keep — great carers
- Helping new carers settle in so they stay and thrive
- Representing Visiting Angels at recruitment fairs and community events (some weekend flexibility required)
- Creating a warm, professional candidate experience that reflects our Carer-Centric values
- Ensuring all compliance, DBS checks and onboarding processes (including Birdie software) are completed accurately and on time
- Working closely with our friendly office team for smooth handovers
- Sharing on-call responsibilities with the wider team
- Tracking recruitment metrics and reporting on progress to senior leadership
What we're looking for:
- Experience in care, recruitment or another people-focused role
- Energy, self-motivation and the ability to manage your own time and priorities
- A genuinely caring, engaging nature that people warm to
- Excellent written communication — you'll write adverts, posts and emails every day
- Confidence speaking to groups and promoting Visiting Angels at job fairs, community events and presentations
- Confidence using social media for recruitment and employer branding
- A friendly, approachable and professional manner
- Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle (business class 1 insurance required)
- Flexibility to support occasional evening/weekend recruitment events and shared on-call
- Marketing experience is desirable but not essential
Why join us?

As we grow, this role grows with you: you'll shape how we find and keep the carers our clients depend on, with real ownership and a performance bonus that rewards your success.
