Weekend Swimming Teacher Opportunity - Saturdays & Sundays
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swimming Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques to individuals of various ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. As a Swimming Teacher, you will play a vital role in educating students about water safety, swimming skills, and fostering a love for the water.
You will be required to attend a 6 day course in England to qualify as a Turtle Tots swimming teacher, all accommodation, travel and training costs will be covered for this course.
Responsibilities
- Conduct swimming lessons for groups, following the Turtle Tots programme.
- Educate students on water safety practices and the importance of swimming skills.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by maintaining a vigilant presence in and around the water.
- Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and any concerns.
- Maintain organisation of the pool area before, during, and after lessons.
Experience
- Previous experience in teaching swimming is not required but advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate students of all ages.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Relevant Obtaining the safety award for swimming teachers and gaining membership of the STA are mandatory.
