PIP & WCA Clinical Assessor – Make Your Clinical Experience Count
Location: Lewes – Hybrid
Salary: PIP (3 detailed evaluations a day) £45,000 to £47,000
WCA (5-6 evaluations a day) £48,000 to £49,000
(Salaries varies between postcodes)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
No weekends, nights or bank holidays

A
PIP or WCA Clinical Assessor role could be the perfect next step. You’ll assess how health conditions and disabilities affect an individual's
functional ability, daily living, mobility and capacity, using your clinical expertise to produce fair, accurate and evidence-based reports.
The Role:
- Conduct structured PIP or WCA functional assessments via telephone and face-to-face
- Review and critically analyse medical evidence
- Take detailed clinical histories and assess functional limitations
- Explore how physical and psychological conditions affect daily living and mobility
- Apply clinical reasoning and professional judgement
- Produce clear, accurate and objective evidence-based reports

Who We're Looking For This opportunity is specifically for
registered healthcare professionals with relevant clinical experience:
- Registered Nurses – NMC (Adult, Mental or Learning disability)
- Physiotherapists – HCPC
- Occupational Therapists – HCPC
- Paramedics – HCPC
- Pharmacists – GPhC
You should have experience using
clinical assessment, history-taking, evidence evaluation and professional judgement within your current or previous clinical practice.
Please note: This role is specifically for the above registered healthcare professions. Applications from
Social Workers, Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers, Receptionists, Administrators or other non-registered professions will not meet the requirements.
