Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead and optimise our organisational processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, developing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. This role requires strong leadership, management expertise, and a proven track record in supervising teams to achieve organisational goals. The Head of Operations will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting the organisation’s growth objectives.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise departmental managers and teams to meet organisational targets.
- Oversee daily operational activities across multiple departments, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.
- Analyse operational performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
- Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to optimise productivity and reduce costs.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels effectively to meet organisational needs.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional development within the team.
- Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all staff.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, partners, and clients to maintain strong professional relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising teams with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong management skills with the ability to oversee multiple functions simultaneously.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and strategic thinking.
- Previous experience in operations management or related roles within similar industries is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to analyse complex data sets and translate insights into actionable plans.
- A proactive approach with problem-solving abilities and resilience under pressure.
- Relevant qualifications in business administration or management are preferred but not essential.
Pay: £61,086.00-£113,000.00 per year
