We're looking for an experienced, hardworking and caring individuals to join our night team in a role that offers two distinct responsibilities.
On some shifts you'll work as a Night Carer - delivering hands-on, person-centred care to our residents as part of the team. On others you'll step into the Duty Night Manager role, taking responsibility for the whole site overnight: our residential care home, our Extra Care service, and all night staff.
It's a role that suits someone who's already good and experienced at the care side and is ready to show they can manage a site when it's needed.
Standon House has been a family-run home since 1985.
What the role involves:
- Delivering hands-on care on night carer shifts
- Managing the site overnight on Duty Night Manager shifts - overseeing both services and all night staff
- Responding to and managing incidents, escalating where appropriate
- Maintaining accurate records and clear handovers
What we're looking for:
- Solid care home experience, ideally at senior or team lead level
- Comfortable holding site-wide responsibility and making decisions overnight
- Reliable, calm under pressure, and a strong communicator
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care preferred
