Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our vibrant catering team in Bridgend at Dragon Studios and then to a Studio in Newport. This role is vital in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen and ensuring a clean, efficient environment that supports our culinary excellence. Based in Bridgend and then later in the Newport area.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks to support the kitchen team.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Help with dishwashing and waste disposal procedures.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues.
- Assist in setting up for service and clearing down after shifts.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Good communication skills and team spirit.
