Part-Time Baker – Café Bakes
We’re looking for a talented, creative baker to join our café!
We’re looking for someone who loves baking and can create a selection of delicious sweet treats, cakes, pastries and other bakes for our café display.
This is a flexible part-time opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys baking and wants to work around other commitments.
The role
- Baking a selection of fresh sweet treats for the café
- Creating a varied and appealing selection for our display
- Using our café kitchen to prepare and bake your products
- Bringing the finished bakes into the café and displaying them beautifully
- Coming into the café from 5pm onwards to use the kitchen
- Managing your own baking time and working independently
- Keeping the kitchen, equipment and work area clean and tidy
- Following all food hygiene and allergen requirements
Hours & flexibility
- Maximum 15 hours per week
- Ideally 2–3 days per week
- Kitchen use will be from 5pm onwards
- Days can be agreed around your availability, with a preference for the days to be spaced throughout the week
- You can manage your own time and decide how long you need in the kitchen, as long as the agreed bakes are completed and ready for the café
- Flexibility to plan your baking around your own schedule
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a real passion for baking
- Is creative and enjoys coming up with new treats and ideas
- Has previous baking experience
- Takes pride in quality, presentation and consistency
- Is reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Has a good understanding of food hygiene and allergens
- Can produce delicious, attractive bakes that customers will love
This would suit a freelance baker, home baker or experienced baker looking for flexible part-time work.
