Duties
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients efficiently and safely
- Support the cooking process by following recipes and maintaining high standards of presentation and taste
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
- Help with meal assembly and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped for daily operations
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive, fast-paced work environment that emphasizes quality and teamwork
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills
- Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
