Company Overview
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and enthusiastic Sales Administrator / PA to join our interior design team based in Belbroughton. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales Team, ensuring the smooth coordination of sales activities from initial enquiry through to project completion.
Your responsibilities will include managing client enquiries, processing orders, coordinating with the sales team and design team, maintaining accurate records of sales activity. Additionally, you will assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and preparing presentations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Experience in sales administration is preferred, and experience and knowledge working within the interior design industry would be a distinct advantage.
As a Sales Administrator/PA for Blocc Interiors, you'll need a combination of administrative, communication, and industry-specific skills.
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients by addressing their needs, responding to enquiries promptly, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the design process.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Assisting in budget preparation, quoting, and monitoring costs to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- Creativity and Design Sensibility: While not necessarily performing design tasks, having an appreciation for design aesthetics and creativity can help in understanding and supporting the vision of the sales team. This will also help in effectively communicating with clients and understanding their requirements.
- Organisation: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines. This includes maintaining accurate records, managing schedules, and coordinating appointments.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in handling administrative tasks such as processing orders, preparing documents, and maintaining records to ensure accuracy and completeness. A high standard of arithmetic and English grammar is essential.
- Sales Support: Supporting the sales function with administrative tasks, such as preparing sales materials and generating quotes and schedules.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using software and tools for administrative tasks, such as SAP systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and resolve conflicts that may arise during the sales process or client interactions.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with design software Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) is advantageous.
