Due to continued growth and expansion, JK. Interiors is seeking an exceptional Mid Weight Interior Designer to join our Team.
We are looking for an experienced individual with creative flair and exceptional attention to detail who will be responsible for providing primary support to the senior design team and taking lead on projects when required.

The Role
As a Mid weight interior designer you will be responsible for providing primary support to the senior design team and taking lead on projects when required. The candidate should have a very strong understanding of project administration, financials and logistics and should be proficient in autocad, photoshop and MS office packages including MS Excel.
You will oversee the successful delivery of all design and procurement projects within the business, ensuring that projects meet client expectations, commercial objectives and programme requirements whilst maintaining the creative standards for which JKI is known.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the senior team in delivering both small and large scale hospitality projects from initial concept through
· to completion, ensuring they are completed within deadline/budget, and in accordance with the client brief
· Develop FF&E schemes and schedules
· Develop furniture layouts, elevations and visuals
· Produce coordinated drawing package relevant to project
· Develop detailed project estimates in conjunction with the procurement team
· Deal with external stakeholders to coordinate project process (for instance, lighting designers, engineers etc)
· Assist with the procurement process including pricing, tenders, placing orders, administration of invoicing.
· Develop and maintain good working relationships and communication channels with suppliers, clients and contractors.
· Coordination of logistics during procurement process
· Organise and manage a timely and efficient on-site installation
· Assist with organising post-installation snagging requirements
· Maintain a clear understanding of project financials and budgets

· Proven ability to prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and clients
· Knowledge of Building Regulations 2010, Building Safety Act 2022, Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
· The ability to understand confidentiality and behave in a discrete manner to protect our clients
· Flexible and willing to support all aspects of the business as required
· Confident problem-solver, able to remain calm and pragmatic in high-pressure situations whilst thinking laterally to overcome obstacles
· Full UK driving licence preferred
· Computer skills

Location
Our studio is based in a beautiful rural setting in Reigate, Surrey, close to Gatwick Airport.
Full UK driving licence preferred.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
