Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced cleaner to join our team and provide top-quality cleaning services for a busy cafe bar located in EX31 1UH. This role is perfect for someone with a background in commercial cleaning and janitorial experience who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the premises are spotless, safe, and welcoming for staff and customers alike.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas within the cafe bar, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and kitchen spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure effective sanitation
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, bar counters, and customer seating zones
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning materials as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a hygienic environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines to ensure consistent standards are met
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards of hygiene
- Reliable with a positive attitude and good time management skills
