Join our team as a Roving Forest School Lead, supporting our nearby nurseries—Footsteps Nursery Canwell, Footsteps Nursery Dosthill, Footsteps Nursery Hawthorn (Lichfield), and Footsteps Nursery Lichfield Road in Tamworth.
Each of our settings boasts vast outdoor spaces where the magic of Forest School practice truly comes alive. You’ll lead the development and delivery of inspiring outdoor learning experiences, championing our commitment to connecting children with nature while supporting staff across our nurseries.
Our welcoming, home-from-home environments care for children aged 3 months to 5 years, offering enriching experiences that nurture growth and curiosity at every stage. With large outdoor areas, some overlooking beautiful rural surroundings, nature plays a central role in our curriculum.
We embrace a balance of child-led, adult-initiated, and in-the-moment learning that encourages discovery, problem-solving, and confidence—allowing every child to thrive through their natural surroundings.

What You Will Bring
Level 3 Certificate for Forest School Leaders, accredited by the Forest School Association (FSA) or an equivalent recognised body.
Minimum Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification (or higher).
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between and oversee our nursery locations in
Footsteps Nursery Canwell, Footsteps Nursery Dosthill, Footsteps Nursery Hawthorn (Lichfield) and Footsteps Nursery Lichfield Road in Tamworth
