Duties
- Support students with special educational needs, including those with autism, to access the curriculum and participate actively in classroom activities
- Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique requirements
- Foster positive communication and social interactions among students, encouraging independence and confidence
- Provide one-on-one or small group support during lessons, ensuring students understand instructions and stay engaged
- Help manage classroom behavior by applying consistent, positive reinforcement strategies
- Assist with daily routines such as Toddler care, including personal hygiene, meal times, and transitions between activities
- Monitor student progress and report observations to teachers and specialists to inform ongoing support strategies
Qualifications
- Experience working with children, particularly in special education or inclusive settings
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism or disabilities is highly desirable
- Knowledge of teaching techniques tailored for learners with diverse needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists
- Compassionate attitude with patience and adaptability in challenging situations
- Ability to support toddlers and young children in their developmental milestones
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: £20,500.00-£22,000.00 per year
