Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including flatbed lorries, on scheduled routes and deliveries
- Load and unload goods with care, ensuring items are secured properly during transit
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver
- Valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type, including driver certification if applicable
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Experience driving flatbed lorries or similar vehicles preferred
- Good organisational skills with the ability to plan efficient routes and manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment
