Angels Bakery is seeking hardworking individuals to deliver food stock to our shops across London. We have a total of 4 shops across London area (Plumstead, Peckham, Canning Town and Dagenham).
We need a driver to cover 3 shifts , around 15 hours a week
You will be required to start your deliveries early mornings
00:15 - 05:15 (Thursday, Saturday and Sunday).
A usual shift will start 00:15 am and finish 05:15 am. But remember, Every Day and Week is different, so the schedule may be adjusted according to business needs. That’s why we need someone flexible with its schedule.
We are looking for a part-time driver to cover 3 shifts a week ( 15 hours) with possibility of more overtime.( Week days and weekend availability).

What we are looking for:

· Physical fitness*, able to lift (up to 25* kg) using safe technique and comfortable entering/exiting vans numerous times throughout the day.
· Previous multi-drop experience is advantageous however not essential as training will be given.
What you will do:
· Load pre-packaged food from our warehouse kitchen into your delivery van
· Drive our Van, following a pre-panned route so you can focus on the road (Food deliveries needs to be done safe following the company procedures)
· Complete the paper work (Compliance book) provided during Collection and Delivery of goods (Food temperature, Van temperature, Collection/Delivery times, Emergency procedures)
· Deliver the food to our shops safely and in a timely manner
· Report any issues during transportation
· Commute to our location where the van is kept

What you need:
· You can be self-employed (UTR number will need to be provided)
· Or you can work as a company employee being provided with a Contract and Payslip at the End of each month (you choose the options)
· Full UK Driving license held for longer than 1 year and a maximum of 6 points with no active IN, LC, AC, BA, CD, DD, DG, DR, MR, MS, UT or TT codes (automatic licenses not accepted)
· Able to pass a drugs & alcohol test
· Able to pass a criminal background check (DBS)
· Be able to commute to and from Thamesmead. (We don’t provide a Van to take home)
· Have good spoken communication.
