An exciting opportunity has become available on a beautiful rural Estate in the Henley-on-Thames/Marlow area, for a full time gardener/grounds person.
Applicants should have good plant knowledge and should be able to demonstrate an efficient and practical approach to their work.
The successful candidate must have experience in:
- Operating ride on and hand pushed mowers
- Operating strimmers and leaf blowers
- Undertaking soil cultivations and seed bed preparation
- Seeding, planting and weeding
- Pruning
- Prepping and chopping fire wood
A full driving licence is essential. Qualifications such as NVQ 2 Amenity Horticulture, RHS Level 2, or equivalent along with previous experience working on Estates is desired but not essential. Chainsaw licence also advantageous.
This is a live out position.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
28 days holiday a year including bank holidays.
The ideal candidate should have enthusiasm, versatility, be physically fit and be confident working in a team or independently.
