Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Laundry General Manager to lead and oversee all operations within our laundry facility. This pivotal role involves managing daily workflows, ensuring top-quality service, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering a motivated team environment. Duties
- Lead the overall management of laundry operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency, quality control, and safety protocols across all laundry processes.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, detergents, and equipment; coordinate procurement to maintain seamless operations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to uphold high standards of performance, professionalism, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as environmental standards related to laundry operations.
- Maintain detailed records of operational metrics, maintenance schedules, and quality assurance inspections to identify areas for improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in laundry management or similar operational leadership roles within the healthcare industry.
- Prior laundry production experience is highly preferred to understand the unique demands of hospitality/healthcare laundry services.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and coordination with other departments.
- Knowledge of laundry machinery maintenance, safety procedures, and environmentally friendly practices is advantageous.

Pay: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
