Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Disinfect high-touch areas regularly to maintain hygiene standards
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Handle waste disposal efficiently and responsibly
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- A proactive attitude towards health and safety protocols
- Flexibility to work during scheduled hours, including early mornings or evenings if required
