Total Hourly Earnings: Total Earnings £14.23, £12.71 - £12.81 Hourly Rate + £1.52 Holiday Pay
About The Role!
This is an agency role supporting vulnerable children with Challenging Behaviours, Trauma, Mental Health needs or Learning Disabilities with both Long Days and Waking Nights rotas available.
As a Support Worker, your role will involve building positive relationships with children in care, providing emotional support, building their independence and providing relief to the home completing domestic duties.
- Provide emotional support, mentorship, and encouragement to children.
- Follow care plans and adhere to safeguarding policies.
- Engage in fun and educational activities that help develop children’s interests and hobbies.
- Teach vital life skills to promote independence.
- Updating low level documentation, log books ect.
- Assist with domestic tasks like cooking, cleaning, and household upkeep.

Requirements for Role!
DegreeSix support Children Homes while dealing with staffing or Behavioural crisis, due to this we require candidates with experience in Residential Children Homes.
- Relevant UK Experience: Minimum of 6 months in Residential Children Homes or Supported Living for Young People
- UK Driving Licence and Own Vehicle
- Online DBS Certificate or Arranging new certificate
