Packing Assistant
We are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to join our growing packing team at our bakery in Kenn, near Clevedon, North Somerset. No experience is necessary as training will be given, although experience in operating wrapping machinery and an understanding of food production would be an asset.
You will be making boxes, operating wrapping machinery, packing cakes into various outer cases and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed in line with the Company’s Food Safety and Quality standards.

Hours:
We are looking for Full-Time team members on the below shift:
Sunday – Thursday, working the following hours:
8am – 4pm / finish (Sunday)
10am – 7pm / finish (Monday – Thursday)
Please note that finish times are not exact and will vary depending on workload. The above is a rough guide but some days may have earlier finishes, whereas others may be later.

Responsibilities and duties (training provided):
- Setting up and running packing machinery
- Carrying out metal detection checks
- Accurately completing required paperwork
- Preparing and packing product into boxes
- Ensuring workstations and floor areas are clean and tidy
- Maintain a good working atmosphere in the team
- Minimise and report any waste of packaging/products
