Join us at Scarborough Market as a casual member of the team, supporting traders, colleagues and customers to enjoy this amazing building.
As our Market Porter, you will assist the Market Superintendent with the day to day running of the market.
You will also:
- Opening and closing of the Market Hall including key holder duties.
- Setting up and closing down of the market including sweeping, mopping, general cleaning, closing of doors, moving of gazebos where necessary, using appropriate PPE
- Undertaking the cleaning duties involved in the upkeep of the Market Hall
- Assist in the event of emergency evacuation
