Our Children's Home Rhondda are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and caring Senior Support Worker to join our team! We support children and young people up to the age of 18, with a range of needs, including emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, challenging behaviours, mental health needs in a group living environment. Our home has 4 bedrooms in the main house, including one en-suite bedroom and a fully functioning self contained annex.
Our team take a theraputic approach to care, understanding that every young person is unique. Our home in Rhondda is a warm, nurturing space, where children are supported to feel safe, valued and accepted for who they are. We pride ourselves on creating an environment that feels like a home, with relationships at the heart of everything we do. We have worked really hard over recent months to make our home feel comfortable for our young people, our most recent addition is our dedicated 'cloud room', a theraputic and calming space designed around the needs of the young people. This space allows the young people to relax, watch films on the projector screen, use sensory resources to support regulation, reflect on their thoughts and feelings, and spend time with our therapist and staff in a comfortable environment.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need a full UK driving license and your Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People.
