HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER – MULTI-DROP & TRUNKING / SOUTHALL (UB2)
We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a mixed role combining trunking and local multi-drop deliveries based in Southall (UB2).
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent weekday work and a clear pathway to a permanent position. Immediate starts available.
- Role: HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)
- Contract Type: Temp to Perm
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
- Start Time: Between 04:00 – 06:00
- Hours: 8–10 hours per shift (minimum 40 hours per week expected)
PAY
Standard Rate – Monday to Friday
- Basic Hourly Rate: £17.00
- Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £2.37
- Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £19.37
- Overtime: Not applicable (flat rate applies)
- Weekend Work: Not required
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles
- Completing a mix of trunking routes and local multi-drop deliveries
- Transporting light construction equipment
- Following planned routes and delivery schedules
- Completing paperwork / EPOD accurately
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Communicating professionally with transport office and delivery sites
- Operating pre-loaded vehicles where applicable
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card (in date)
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, IN endorsements)
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous trunking or multi-drop experience preferred
- Reliable, flexible and professional attitude
