Job Summary

Duties
- Design and assemble fresh floral arrangements tailored to customer preferences and special occasions
- Work to specific instructions set out by Interflora when forefilling orders placed online
- Take orders both in the shop and by telephone
- Assist and advise customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related accessories with enthusiasm and expert guidance
- Maintain the freshness and quality of all floral products through proper handling and conditioning
- Manage inventory levels, restock displays, and organize floral supplies efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the shop area remains organized, clean, and visually appealing
- Use merchandising techniques to showcase floral arrangements attractively and boost sales
- Maintain a clean working area
- Available to work weekends
- Increased working hours at peak periods/holiday cover
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a florist. Must have worked in a florist shop or similar
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage inventory and display arrangements effectively
- Passion for floral design, and creating beautiful displays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of merchandising principles to attract customer interest
- Good telephone manner essential
- Use intiative when creating orders to manage the rotation of stock
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
