Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Site Manager (Mechanical & Electrical) to lead and oversee the successful execution of M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) construction projects. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate daily site activities, manage teams, ensure compliance with safety standards, and deliver projects on time and within scope. Your management expertise will drive efficiency, quality, and safety across all phases of the project, inspiring teams to achieve excellence at every turn.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all M&E construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.
- Develop detailed work schedules using Primavera P6 project management software to optimize resource allocation and project timelines.
- Manage site teams by providing clear direction, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring high standards of workmanship.
- Monitor progress regularly through site inspections, quality checks, and safety audits; address issues promptly to maintain momentum.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, conducting risk assessments and promoting a culture of safety among all personnel.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, milestones achieved, and potential risks to keep all stakeholders informed.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing M&E construction projects with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Demonstrated management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Supervising experience in a construction environment is essential for overseeing daily operations and ensuring quality standards.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project management tools for scheduling and resource planning.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or engineering are preferred.
