Registered Manager – Lillia House

Salary: £60,000 per annum
Performance Bonus: £5,000 payable following the home’s first Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspection, subject to the successful completion of probation and being in post at the time of the inspection.
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead Lillia House, our Ofsted-registered solo children’s home in Liverpool.
Lillia House provides high-quality residential care for one young person with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). We are committed to delivering safe, therapeutic and child-centred care that enables young people to achieve positive outcomes and reach their full potential.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager with a proven track record in children’s residential care who can provide strong leadership, promote outstanding practice and ensure the home continues to meet and exceed regulatory standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home and will work closely with the Responsible Individual and Directors to ensure the service operates safely, effectively and in full compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day management and operation of Lillia House.
* Create and maintain a safe, stable, nurturing and therapeutic environment for the young person.
* Lead, motivate, supervise and develop a skilled and committed staff team.
* Ensure the home operates in full compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, the Quality Standards, safeguarding legislation and Ofsted requirements.
* Promote a culture of high expectations, continuous improvement and outstanding child-centred practice.
* Ensure care planning, behaviour support strategies and risk assessments are effectively implemented and regularly reviewed.
* Manage staffing, rotas, supervision, performance and resources efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure all statutory reporting requirements are met.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, social workers, education providers, healthcare professionals and families.
* Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for the young person through strong leadership and effective quality assurance.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s residential home.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Excellent knowledge of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, safeguarding legislation and Ofsted inspection framework.
* Experience supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
* Strong leadership, organisational and decision-making skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
