About the Role
We’re looking for a strong Shop Manager to lead one of our Knotts Bakery retail locations.
This role is about running a well-organised, high-standard shop delivering great customer experience, leading your team effectively and ensuring the site operates consistently day-to-day.
You’ll work closely with the Area Manager to maintain structure, improve performance and build a strong, motivated team.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading the day-to-day running of the shop
- Managing rotas, staffing and team organisation
- Delivering fast, friendly and consistent customer service
- Setting clear expectations and leading daily team briefings
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation and product quality
- Managing stock, ordering, cash handling and wastage
- Monitoring sales and supporting promotions and product focus
- Coaching and developing your team through regular feedback
- Making sure processes, routines and checklists are followed consistently
What We’re Looking For
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Highly organised with the ability to bring structure and consistency
- Confident in leading teams in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment
- Commercially aware with an understanding of sales performance
- High attention to detail and standards
- Comfortable giving feedback and holding others accountable
- Experience in bakery, retail or hospitality environments preferred

We’re looking for someone who can lead from the front, bring structure to the shop and ensure standards are delivered consistently not just set.
This is a hands on role where strong leadership, organisation and follow through are key.
