We are a leading provider of mental health and wellbeing services, delivering high-quality support across the UK.
We are seeking experienced Counsellors/Psychotherapists trained in EMDR and/or CBT (including TF-CBT) to join our clinical team as we expand our trauma-focused provision.
Opportunities are available within a specialist service supporting a defined client group. Clients are typically individuals working in high-impact, high-trauma operational environments. The service provides EMDR, CBT and counselling support for a range of trauma-related and psychological needs.
Services to be Provided:
Counsellors may provide:
· EMDR, CBT and counselling sessions tailored to individual client needs (face-to-face and remote where appropriate)
· Risk assessment and safeguarding throughout the client journey
· Accurate and timely clinical record keeping
· Work in line with service policies, safeguarding and clinical governance requirements
· Liaison with the clinical regarding risk and safeguarding concerns
Essential Requirements
· Recognised qualification in EMDR and/or CBT (TF-CBT)
· Minimum three years' post-qualification experience
· Experience working with trauma-related presentations
· Professional (PSA registered) body membership (e.g. BACP, BABCP, UKCP, EMDR UK & Ireland, or equivalent)
· Strong safeguarding and risk management experience
· Accreditation preferred or working towards
Desirable Experience
· Dual qualification in both EMDR and CBT/TF-CBT
· Experience working with high-risk or trauma-exposed occupational groups
· Experience in commissioned or funded services
