Overview
H Young Transport Ltd is seeking a motivated and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our growing transport team to make deliveries and collections in the East Midlands area i.e. Derby / Cannock / Rugeley / Burton.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 (HGV C+E) vehicles in accordance with all road traffic and transport regulations.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork and records are completed accurately.
- Comply with driver hours, Working Time Directive regulations, and company procedures.
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and driver hours legislation.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Additional Information
- Shift Pattern is Monday to Friday with one Saturday morning every 6 weeks.
- All breaks fully paid by the company.
Pay: £16.00 per hour
