Kitchen Assistant & Cafe All-Rounder
Location: Bridgend
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Hours: 8 hours per day, 4 days a week
Days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday
Note: Depending on the individual/individuals, there is a possibility of split shifts to suit requirements.
About Us
We are Tŷ Chai, a local, family-run independent cafe in Bridgend specializing in unique, high-quality street food, spiced masala chai, and specialty drinks like premium matcha and taro. We take pride in what we do and are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team.
This role is first and foremost a kitchen assistant position, with front-of-house duties included. It is a brilliant opportunity for someone with an eagerness to learn and develop, as we will provide hands-on training across all areas of the cafe.

- An Interest in Cooking & Baking: This is the main focus of the job. You don’t need to be a professional chef, but you must have a genuine passion for food and a strong desire to learn.
