The Role
We are looking for a driven and practical Account Manager with knowledge and experience of irrigation systems, to take ownership of customer relationships and sales opportunities covering both irrigation products and complete project solutions, from enquiry through to delivery. This is a hands-on role combining technical understanding, client management, sales development, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
· Managing and developing relationships with agricultural clients
· Advising customers on irrigation systems and suitable solutions
· Preparing quotes and following up sales opportunities for both individual products and complete irrigation projects
· Coordinating orders, deliveries, and installations
· Liaising with suppliers (pumps, tanks, dripline, fittings, etc.)
· Tracking project progress and resolving any issues or delays
· Conducting site visits to farms where required
· Maintaining accurate records (orders, communications, project status)
Skills & Experience
· Experience in account management, sales, or operations
· Background in agriculture, irrigation, or related industry (highly desirable)
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills
· Organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Confident using Excel and Microsoft 365
· Full UK driving licence
