At Sodexo, you'll belong in a team where everyone plays an important part in delivering an exceptional customer experience. We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team in Epsom, supporting our chefs and Food Service Assistants to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, supporting the kitchen team, managing deliveries and ensuring the kitchen is ready to deliver an excellent service every day.
What you'll do

Keep kitchen areas clean, tidy and hygienic

Wash dishes, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment

Clean fridges, work surfaces, equipment, floors, walls and doors
-
Remove waste and maintain clean bin areas
-
Receive, check and store deliveries
-
Support stock rotation and stock takes
-
Ensure stock is stored safely and correctly
-
Support the chefs and Food Service Assistants during service
-
Help with general kitchen duties and any additional tasks required

Assist with moving tables or equipment when required

Follow opening and closing procedures
-
Complete required paperwork and records
-
Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly

Prioritise tasks and respond to changing business needs
-
Follow all food safety, COSHH, health & safety and company procedures
-
Attend required training and support the wider team when needed

Maintain a positive and professional approach when supporting customers and colleagues
What you'll bring

Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is beneficial

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required, as there are no public transport links to site
