Overview
We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Metal Sorter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sorting and handling metal materials in a busy yard environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with waste experience or mechanical knowledge to develop their skills further. Duties
- Sort and classify metal materials according to size, type, and disposal location
- Cover other waste sorting needs when needed
Requirements
- Understanding of basic health and safety
- Knowledge of different metal types
- Able to work in all weather conditions in a efficient and timely manner
- Follow instructions when required
- Able to work as part of a time when needed
- Able to be flexible in regards to hours worked per week and cover staff holidays when required.
Rate of Pay:
Minimum wage £12.71
Location: YO8 6EG
