Storrs Hall are an independently owned, spectacular Grade II listed Hotel that have Inspectors Choice four Red Stars, 2 Rosettes, and are also Wine List awarded. Based in an enviable setting in its own grounds on the shores of Lake Windermere, we have a beautiful Fine Dining restaurant and a modern British Bistro, and we are looking for a capable Breakfast Chef that wants to work in a luxury environment and can handle a busy high quality breakfast service of up to 70 covers at peak.

Main Responsibilities
- Setting up the kitchen prior to the restaurant’s opening for breakfast
- Preparing and prepping all breakfast items
- Cooking breakfast orders as they arrive in the kitchen
- Collaborating with the Head Chef on breakfast menu development
- Working closely with the food & beverage team
- Cleaning the kitchen before the restaurant closes
- Cleaning and sanitising their area with warm water and soap
- Wrapping unused items and storing them in proper areas at the end of a shift
- Ensuring all fridges are clean with products stored and labelled correctly
Key skills
We are looking for an individual who:
- Loves to cook quality food to a high standard and has strong Breakfast experience.
- Has experience working in a professional kitchen and has experience preparing quality food to order, in a timely manner.
- Has attention to detail.
- Has an organised approach to their work.
- Is able to anticipate guest needs wherever possible and react accordingly.
- Is able to manage stock levels and control wastage.
- Has excellent Food Hygiene and Allergen knowledge.
- Is a good team player, able to work with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for our guests.
