Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children and ideally hold a level 3 qualification in early years education. This role involves creating engaging learning experiences that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children in our care. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational journey of our little learners. Opportunity to take on deputy duties and delegate tasks to team members. Two 8hr days, 8.30am - 4.30pm Tues & Weds, annual contract.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that cater to the diverse needs of children.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote effective communication and collaboration.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their development.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respect and cooperation among children.
- Lead activities that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the nursery.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and fellow educators.
- Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
- A drive for excellence in early childhood education practices.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with children, parents, and staff.
- Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices in early years education.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics while fostering an engaging learning environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families.
