ClwydAlyn is an ambitious, values-driven housing association working across North Wales. We believe safe, warm and affordable homes transform lives and we are looking for passionate individuals to help guide our organisation at Board level.
We are currently recruiting two Board Members to strengthen our Board and support our continued growth and impact.
As a Board Member, you will play a vital role in providing strategic leadership, governance, and constructive challenge. You will help shape our direction, ensure strong decision-making, and support the delivery of high-quality homes and services that make a real difference to people’s lives.
We are seeking individuals with strong values, a clear social purpose, and a passion for improving lives. We have two specific opportunities:
You will bring:
- Experience of property development
- An understanding of financial investment and asset management
- The ability to support decisions on delivering high-quality, affordable homes
You will bring:
- Experience in housing management or landlord services
- Insight into customer experience and service delivery
- A passion for supporting thriving communities and putting residents first
- A strong commitment to our mission and values of Trust, Kindness and Hope
- Strategic thinking and sound judgement
- The confidence to provide both support and constructive challenge
- Awareness of the challenges facing communities and residents
- A genuine passion for making a positive difference to people’s lives

You will be joining a forward-thinking organisation that:
- Manages over 6,800 homes across North Wales, with plans to grow further
- Is committed to tackling poverty, homelessness and inequality

- Has strong governance, financial resilience and a clear long-term vision
This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in delivering real change for communities.
- Approximately 6 Board meetings per year, plus committee meetings and strategy sessions
- Remuneration of £5,350 per annum plus reasonable expenses
- Full induction and ongoing training and development opportunities
