Finance Administrator
Protective Wear Supplies Limited is a fast growing, customer-focused workwear and PPE provider in the UK market.
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations.
You will play a key role in ensuring invoices, reconciliations, and financial records are processed accurately and efficiently while providing support to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier and customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure invoices are recorded in line with company procedures and approval processes.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate any variances.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues where appropriate.
- Respond to routine finance queries from colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate customer and supplier account records.
- Support updates to finance system data and records.
- Assist with month-end activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Has strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Can work independently as well as part of a wider team.
- Previous experience within a finance, accounts, or administration environment is desirable but not essential.
- Experience using Business Central is also desirable but not essential.
