Business Administrator Apprentice
Role Overview
We will provide full training, support and guidance throughout your apprenticeship to help you develop the
skills and confidence required to succeed in the role. Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending
on business needs. We will help, support and train you in the following areas, including but not limited to:
Customer Service & Communication
- Answer incoming telephone calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist exisiting customers with enquiries, booking requests and service-related questions.
- Build positive relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- Escalate customer concerns where required and assist with finding solutions.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Assist with booking surveys, service visits, maintenance appointments and engineer call-outs.
- Update job information and progress using our internal systems.
- Help coordinate engineer diaries and daily schedules.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries, stock and materials.
Administration & Office Support
- Maintain accurate records, customer information and job documentation.
- Prepare quotations, reports, correspondence and other business documents.
- Assist with filing, data entry and general office administration.
- Ensure confidential information is handled appropriately and in line with company procedures.
Warehouse & Facilities
- Assist with receiving and checking deliveries from suppliers.
- Organise and maintain warehouse stock and storage areas.
- Carry out regular stock takes and update stock records.
- Prepare materials and equipment for engineers and upcoming projects.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
- Answer the office door and greet visitors in a professional manner.
- Process incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and parcels.
- Help ensure the office, warehouse and stores remain clean, safe and well organised.
Apprenticeship & Future Employment
This position is offered in connection with the apprenticeship programme and is intended to support your training and development throughout the apprenticeship period.
Successful completion of the apprenticeship does not guarantee continued employment. However, subject to your performance, conduct, attendance, successful completion of the programme and the needs of the business at the time, there may be opportunities for continued employment and career progression within the Company.
Potential future roles may include Service Coordinator, Accounts Assistant, Sales Assistant, Technical Support or other positions within the business
Pay: £16,400.00-£16,500.00 per year
