PCB Assembler
Location: Crawley
Salary: £25,000–£27,000 per annum

The Role
We are currently recruiting for a PCB Assembler to join a well-established electronics manufacturing company based in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
You will be responsible for assembling and testing printed circuit boards while ensuring all work is completed to the required quality and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) to production specifications.
- Carry out through-hole (PTH) and surface mount (SMT) assembly.
- Perform hand soldering of electronic components.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify and report any faults or defects.
- Operate assembly equipment and hand tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow company health & safety procedures at all times.
- Support the production team to meet daily output targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing.
- Good hand soldering skills.
- Experience with SMT and/or through-hole components.
- Ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- IPC certification (preferred but not essential).
- Experience using inspection or testing equipment.
- Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
