We are seeking a Production Manager to join our team, with salary dependent on experience. Working in a small team, you will oversee daily production lines to ensure high-quality food-to-go products with minimal interruptions. Responsibilities include managing rotas, HR processes, and keeping training up to date. This fast-paced, hands-on role requires experience in a production environment, ideally in food.
The day starts at 6am, finish times vary with production volumes, and this role operates on a Panama shift pattern, involving rotating shifts on a bi-weekly basis.
What you'll be doing:
- Oversee smooth running of the business by coordinating stock, production, picking, and dispatch with department leaders
- Ensure stock levels meet requirements, maintaining product quality and minimizing waste
- Lead and promote a strong food safety culture, ensuring traceability and compliance with BRC and company procedures
- Manage staffing rotas, cover, HR processes (interviews, disciplinary, absence reviews), inductions, and training
- Liaise with Production Supervisors, team leaders, and other departments to ensure efficient food-to-go production
- Attend management meetings, set a positive example for staff, and ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety regulations
About You:
- Experience of working within the FMCG Sector
- Candidates must be flexible, hard-working and possess a positive attitude to work
- Experience of working in a fast-paced production environment
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
