We're looking for experienced Mechanical Craft Professionals to join teams across a number of our operational plants at our Scunthorpe site. This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional who is ready to combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced, highly automated industrial environment.
In this role, you'll lead work groups comprising both internal employees and contractors, ensuring maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you'll carry out a wide range of mechanical maintenance activities to maximise asset reliability, improve plant performance, and minimise downtime. Your mechanical engineering expertise will be essential in diagnosing faults, resolving issues, and responding to emerging maintenance requirements.
Working within a technologically advanced manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in supporting operational excellence. Safety is at the heart of everything we do, so a strong understanding of health and safety legislation, company procedures, and safe systems of work is essential. You'll be confident identifying hazards, managing risks, and ensuring all work is completed safely and compliantly.

- Bring a positive, proactive mindset and contribute to a high-performing team culture.
- Demonstrate excellent reliability, professionalism, and time management skills.
- Be adaptable, flexible, and confident working across a variety of mechanical systems and equipment.
What you need to bring

Ideally, you'll have experience in mechanical maintenance and fault finding within a manufacturing, industrial, commercial, or heavy engineering environment. Previous experience supervising work teams or coordinating contractors would be advantageous, although not essential.
We're looking for individuals who are eager to learn, embrace new technologies, and continuously develop their skills. The ability to adapt to new equipment, processes, and ways of working is vital to success in this role.
