Our hotels are located in the Heart of The Lake District central to our Lakeland Fells. 1769 Bar & Restaurant is a busy and vibrant place offering local and homely produce.
We are currently seeking a Chef de Partie to work alongside our team. This role provides a unique opportunity within a successful and expanding company, which encourages professional development and offers exciting long-term career prospects.
The successful applicants will be expected of the following:
- Preparing food in areas of the kitchen assigned by a superior and to carry out cleaning and any reasonable duties requested.
- Helping to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhering to the company’s health and safety policy and procedures.
- Assisting the team in the effective and efficient organisation, supervision and taking control of the kitchen operation.
- Reporting for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and protective clothing and adhering to self-hygiene standards.
- Preparing, cooking and portioning of all dishes to the hotel’s standards of quality and quantity.
