At CGP we obsess about high standards across the whole company – and our Lake District grounds and gardens are just as important as the publishing side of our business. As a key member of the team, you’ll be based at Eccle Riggs Hall, a historic 50-acre estate on the edge of Broughton-in-Furness.
What you’ll be doing
We have an in-house Grounds team of 10 people looking after our woodlands, parklands and private gardens across multiple properties (a total of 250 acres). So, you’ll need to be willing to get stuck in and do whatever’s necessary to ensure our grounds and gardens look lovely all year round. This will include using ride-on mowers, chainsaws, scythes, sprayers, and other grounds equipment safely (training will be provided). Some knowledge about plants will also be a bonus.
