Woodworking Edgebander Operator
We are looking for an experienced Woodworking Edgebander Operator to join our busy production team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Biesse or Homag edgebanding machinery, with a strong understanding of woodworking manufacturing and a keen eye for quality.
The Role
You will be responsible for operating and setting up edgebanding machinery to produce high-quality finished panels, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently met.
Key responsibilities:
Operating and setting up Biesse or Homag edgebanders
Edgebanding MFC
Adjusting machine settings and tooling to achieve a high-quality finish
Carrying out routine checks and basic machine maintenance
Inspecting finished components for quality and accuracy
Working efficiently to meet production deadlines
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Following company health & safety procedures
About You
Essential:
Previous experience operating a woodworking edgebander
Experience with Biesse or Homag machinery
Good understanding of woodworking production processes
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious
Desirable:
Experience setting and programming CNC/automated woodworking machinery
Experience working with PUR or EVA edgebanding
Previous experience in a furniture, joinery or fitted furniture manufacturing environment
