The Role
The successful candidate will work both on-site and at customer locations carrying out a variety of hydraulic engineering duties. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong fault-finding skills and experience working with hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing and fitting hydraulic hose assemblies
- Manufacturing, replacing, and installing steel tube assemblies
- Hydraulic fault finding and diagnostics
- Carrying out servicing and maintenance work
- Completing hydraulic installation projects
- Attending breakdowns and carrying out on-site repairs
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintaining accurate job records and communicating effectively with customers
Requirements
- Previous experience within hydraulic engineering or a similar mechanical role
- Good understanding of hydraulic systems and components
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hydraulic faults
- Experience with hose and steel tube assembly manufacture preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and good customer service skills
